Who we Are:

The idea for A Warm Current came when some familiar facts ran into some unfamiliar ones. The familiar: old wetsuits sitting in the closets of surfers, windsurfers and kayakers in North America could fill a landfill. Our friends’ old suits alone would probably fill most of a dump truck.

And then there was the sadly unfamiliar: a ton of people who love the water (or would love to know it) simply can’t afford to get in it. In many of the world’s economies, wetsuits are as far from the common person as an extra vacation home.

The resolution to these two facts seemed overwhelmingly obvious, and we’ve called it A Warm Current.
