At the present time we are incorporated in the State of California as a tax-exempt, Not for Profit Organization and are currently in the process of obtaining federal designation as a 501(c)(3).
Our principle aim is pretty basic: to get sports equipment out of closets or that would be discarded into the hands of youngsters who can't afford them.
Thanks to generous donations from all sorts of water-sports enthusasts in our communities, we have been able to collect a heap of great wetsuits during the last year. Our present goal is to continue delivering these wetsuits to those who can enjoy them in Peru and Mexico.
Our hope is to expand and meet the need that we know exists both in other parts of Latin America and the developing world as well as in our local communities, and to simulataneously develop services aimed at improving environmental awareness in these areas.
